    2. Palm Beach: Requires 6 years of hands-on field experience. Must submit W-2 forms for each year of experience and affidavit form signed by qualifier of contracting business.

    3. Broward: Requires 4 years of hands-on field experience. Must submit W-2 forms for each year of experience and affidavit form signed by qualifier of contracting business.

    4. Miami-Dade: Requires 3 years of hands-on field experience. Must submit W-2 forms for each year of experience and affidavit form signed by qualifier of contracting business. You may also submit up to 12 months of educational technical training (transcripts and diploma required) and two years of hands-on field experience.

    5. Monroe: Requires 6 years of hands-on field experience. Must submit W-2 forms or 1099 forms for each year of experience and affidavit form signed by qualifier of contracting business.

  • 1. Master (Electrical, Plumber, AC): Requires having a journeyman license for at least 2 years or have at least 6 years of accumulated hands-on field experience. Must submit W-2 forms and affidavit form signed by qualifier of contracting business.

    2. Building (Residential, Building, General): Requires four years of field experience. Must submit W-2 forms or 1099 forms for each year of experience and affidavit signed by qualifier of contracting business.

    3. Building Specialty: Depending on the category of choice, the number of years varies. You will be required to submit an affidavit signed by the qualifier who verifies the number of years of experience.

  • 1. Application assistance for initial license for any category under the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Also, if you are a licensed contractor and wish to qualify an additional business, we can help you get that business entity qualified.
    2. Application assistance for initial license for any category under the Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board. Also, if you are a licensed contractor and wish to qualify an additional business, we can help you get that business entity qualified.

  • 1. You may qualify to have your Florida registered license grandfathered to a certified license (statewide) without having to pass an examination. Requires for your registration to be active for at least five years and letter from the local jurisdiction stating that your local license is in good standing.

  • 1. To qualify for an exemption, you must be listed as an officer of the company on sunbiz.org (State of Florida Division of Corporation) and hold at least 10% ownership interest in the company. Up to 3 officers of the company can apply for a workers’ compensation exemption

  • 1. Small Business Enterprise program certification allows you to participate in the bidding process for county construction projects. The applying company must have hold a Local Business Tax Receipt for at least 1 year and must submit various other supporting documents.
    2. Pre-qualified / Technical certification is for Architects, land surveyors, and engineers who wish to participate in the bidding process for county design, survey, and engineering projects.

  • 1. State certification allows you to participate in the bidding process for state construction projects. You may also apply to be a vendor to sell your product to the state. For construction services, the qualifier (license holder) must have at least 50% ownership interest in the company.

  • 1. Inspector: Categories of building code inspectors include building inspector, plumbing inspector, mechanical inspector, electrical inspector, coastal construction inspector, commercial electrical inspector, residential electrical inspector, electrical inspector, and 1&2 family dwelling inspector.

    2. Plan Examiner: Categories of plans examiners include building plans examiner, plumbing plans examiner, mechanical plans examiner, and electrical plans examiner.
